What is wrong with my computer?

I got a custom built PC its only a few months old, i was using it one day and it just shut off on me, i tried to restart it and the lights just flickered and thats it so i figured it was the power supply, I put in the new power supply and it does the same, please help !!!! i got invoices for my business i need to finish up !
