Im getting a rumbling sound and my lights flicker in my house it dosnt happen all the time?

What is happening in the house when it does happen. is the a/c starting that would not be that uncommon. otherwise find a reliable electrician and have his check your circuit breakers, or the neutral wires they might be loose and causing lights ti flicker.
