New graphics card causing screen to go black?

So I recently got a new graphics card on my computer, and I'm finding that certain things will cause the screen to flicker on and off or just go completely blank. Everything continues to run fine but the screen is just blank. And it only happens with certain things, like when I go to Netflix, or if I bring up pop-up images on facebook. I've got no clue what it is, so any help would be much appreciated.
