Moving to the beach....what kind of dog should I get?

Golden Retriever would be a great choice when living at the beach as the love,are obsessed really with the water,I had one for many years,and it was difficult to keep him away from it. As well an excellent beach loving water dogs are the Black Labrador Retriever and the Chesapeake bay Retriever They are just like the Golden when it comes to water. Would not recommend the Afghan you have listed here,as they are more show dogs and there hair would sincerely be a tangled mess from beach water,lot of grooming you would need to be doing.
