I have bought a Samsung 15x optical zoom, HD video,digital camera. Fantastic pictures but .....?

when i try and connect it through the Hd connector lead to the tv(Through XBOX) the video flickers on and off. i then dropped a video file onto a usb stick and tried watching it on my Xbox and my DVD surround player,Same thing happened. If i watch it on my Laptop or pc,it's a perfect picture. Please help at it is driving me mad.
