Help, when I started my car right now there was hesitation & the battery light was flickering then when it...?

Either the battery or the alternator is having a problem. I think it's you alternator but you have to make sure the belt is tight, and the battery cable terminals are clean and tight. The battery means the alternator is not recharging the battery for some reason.
